    But the issue here is why would someone think of making these and selling them as souvenirs?
    How is baseball connected to Cyprus? Are they trying to sell to american tourists?
    And the truncheon? is that aiming at the English portion of tourism?
    if so then we have here a strong example of how (we) Cypriots are sometimes ‘slaves’ to the tourist industry often making mistakes (such as this one) that sometimes drive the ‘good kind’ of tourists away from the country. how would you feel if you went on a trip to china and they were selling traditional cypriot vrakes in white and red that said ‘china’ on it, in a cheap souvenir / minimarket?

    actually that would be very funny.. but still
